Systemize Your Jiu-Jitsu
Map how positions, reactions, and transitions connect, so you can finally see your whole game, on desktop or your phone.
Map your game, position by position.
Good grapplers think in systems, not isolated techniques.
Grapple Flows lets you map your passes, sweeps, escapes, submissions, and counters in a structure that reflects how Jiu-Jitsu actually flows.
Build it by hand when you're deep in study mode. Or feed Autoflow a YouTube link or voice note on Free (Instagram Reels, your own footage, and longer limits with Pro) and it'll draft one for you. Flowcharts since 2019. Autoflow since 2025.
Capture from anywhere.
The fastest way to turn what you learned into something you can study. Talk it out or drop in a video to auto-build a flow, save stills to your library, or sketch one out by hand.
Voice recap, instant flowchart.
Walk to your car after class and just talk through what you drilled or what stood out during rolls.
Grapple Flows turns your voice note into a clean, structured flowchart automatically. No typing, no forgetting.
- No typing, no template
- Captures positions and reactions
- Edit-ready typically under a minute
Break down any video without the rewind.
Drop a YouTube link or Short on Free, or generate from an Instagram Reel or your own class footage with Pro. Grapple Flows analyzes the teaching and pulls out the key steps, positions, and reactions.
You get a technique map you can actually study and revisit, not just a video you half-watch and forget.
- YouTube and Shorts on Free; IG Reels generate and uploads with Pro
- Pulls structure, not just timestamps
- Map you can edit and extend
Camera-roll grappling, finally organized.
Drop in screenshots and stills from your phone. Grapple Flows tags them by position so they live where you can find them later, instead of buried under last weekend's photos.
- Tagged by position automatically
- Searchable side-by-side with notes
- Pin frames into any flowchart
Build flowcharts the way you'd sketch them on a whiteboard.
Drag, connect, and label nodes to map a position the way you'd sketch it on a whiteboard, with notes, video clips, and photos attached to every step.
- Drag-and-drop nodes and connections
- Attach notes, photos, and clips to any node
- Branch infinitely without losing the thread
Everything you save, in one place.
Photos, video clips, positional notes, and flowcharts, all searchable and connected. When you sit down to study, everything is already organized.
Tagged and searchable
Tag photos, clips, flows, and notes as you go. One search pulls the right stuff back up by position, technique, or anything you wrote down.
Bookmarked video moments
Save the exact frame where the detail lives, so you don't have to scrub through the whole instructional to find it again.
Auto-flow collections
Pull your saved YouTube videos and Instagram Reels into one playlist by topic, so the stuff you bookmarked across apps lives in a single place you'll come back to.
Discover community flows
Browse curated systems shared by other practitioners. Fork what works for your game and skip the blank-canvas problem.
A few things that won't change.
Grapple Flows is a passion project for the grappling community.
- Here for the long haul: thousands of grapplers have mapped their game here since 2019, and the same promises still hold.
- Your data stays yours: we've never sold user data, and we don't run an ad business that depends on it. Your flow charts belong to you.
- Encrypted and EU-hosted: hosted in EU data centers, with sensitive uploads encrypted and your data isolated to your account.
Common questions.
Is Grapple Flows really free?
Yes. Creating flowcharts by hand has been free since 2019 and always will be. Pro adds Instagram and upload auto-build, longer YouTube and voice limits, richer AI detail, and a curated Pro library - you never need it to build, save, and share your own charts.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Grapple Flows runs in your browser and works on desktop, iPhone, and Android. You can add it to your home screen and use it mat-side like a native app.
Does it work for no-gi, wrestling, or judo?
Yes. You define the positions, reactions, and transitions, so the map fits your ruleset: BJJ, no-gi, wrestling, judo, or MMA grappling.
What can Autoflow turn into a flowchart?
Voice notes and YouTube videos or Shorts on Free (within plan limits). Instagram Reels generate and your own uploaded footage are Pro. Autoflow pulls out the positions, steps, and reactions and drafts a flowchart you can edit and extend.
What happens to the videos I import?
Autoflow surfaces the structure of the teaching and always links back to the original source. Your own uploads stay private to your account: encrypted, hosted in EU data centers, and never sold.
Can I study flowcharts other people made?
Yes. The Explore page has community and pro flowcharts organized by position. Study them as-is, or use one as a starting point for your own game.
