IBJJF points
Under the unified IBJJF rules, gi and no-gi share the same point values, and points are awarded for control:

Advantages and penalties
An advantage rewards a near-score, like almost finishing a sweep, pass, or submission. A penalty is given for fouls or stalling. Neither changes the points total. They only break a tie at the end of the match.
How the winner is decided
When the clock runs out with no submission, IBJJF resolves the match in order:
- Most points wins.
- If points are tied, most advantages wins.
- If advantages are tied, the fewest penalties wins.
- If everything is level, it goes to a referee decision.
The scoreboard applies this for you. Tap End match and it shows the winner and why, or asks for the referee's call if it is dead even.

Juvenile runs 5:00 and kids divisions are shorter. Exact times vary by division and event. Pick the belt on the clock, or switch the clock off and keep score against the mat clock.
How to use it
- Tap each name to set the blue and red corners.
- Tap the position a competitor scored. The right number of points is added and the move goes into the match log.
- Use Advantage and Penalty for near-scores and fouls.
- Made a mistake? Undo takes back the last call (or press Cmd or Ctrl and Z).
- Turn the clock on for a regulation countdown, or off to keep score only.
- Tap Submission or End match to finish, then Share result to send the score.
Put the score on a TV
For an in-house tournament or a gym comp night, open the scoreboard on a laptop connected to a TV or projector and tap Fullscreen. The scores and clock scale up so competitors and the crowd can read them, and you keep scoring with the same buttons.
