  1. Top Game

    • From here, from here, is where you impose your will. set dominant top pressure from every position and make your opponent carry your weight
  2. Top Half Guard

    • Once set, quick note: smash their legs flat. drive your shoulder into their jaw and make them miserable. control the underhook and crossface to shut down their options. don’t force it
  3. Top Side Control (Gi)

    • From here, if it shows up, pin them with heavy shoulder pressure. use the gi to control their head and arms. make them feel trapped and helpless under your weight. angle matters
  4. Top Side Control (No Gi)

    • If they frame, if it shows up, drive your weight through their chest. control their head and far arm. make them carry your entire body weight until they give up position
  5. Top Mount (Gi)

    • From here, settle your weight heavy on their chest. use gi grips to control their posture and set up crushing chokes. make every breath a struggle
  6. Top Mount (No Gi)

    • From here, Drive your hips down into their diaphragm. Control their head and arms. Make them carry your weight until they expose submissions. Switch if it stalls
  7. Top Back (Gi)

    • Often Sink your hooks deep and flatten them out. Use the gi to control their posture and hunt for collar chokes. Make them carry your entire body weight
  8. Top Back (No Gi)

    • Often Lock in body triangle and flatten them. Control their posture and hunt for the rear naked choke. Make every movement exhausting for them
  9. Top Turtle

    • Usually Drive your weight into their back. Control their hips and shoulders. Make them carry your pressure until they expose their back or neck. Switch if it stalls
  10. Top Mount

    • If they frame, the ultimate pressure position. drive your weight through their chest and control their head. make them miserable and hunt for submissions
  11. Standard Back Position

    • Usually Flatten them out and sink your hooks deep. Control their posture with heavy pressure. Make them carry your weight while you hunt for chokes
