Mount

Opponent On Side With Elbow Inside
- often 1. opponent has turned to their side. 2. opponent has successfully inserted an elbow inside your hip. 3. creates a defensive frame you must address. don’t force it
Arm Bar Position
- If they frame, most of the time 1. isolate the opponent's arm across your body. 2. secure the arm with your legs and control the wrist. 3. position your hips for the finishing extension. don’t force it
Mounted Triangle Submission
- Once set, if it shows up, 1. lock the triangle configuration with your legs around the opponent's head and arm. 2. apply pressure by squeezing your knees together and angling your body. 3. secure the submission by controlling posture and isolating the trapped arm. don’t force it
Head And Arm
- 1. Achieve side control with the opponent's head and one arm trapped. 2. Apply chest pressure to isolate the shoulder. 3. Look to transition to submissions like the arm triangle or mount

- hand-walk up, grab head, sprawl hip, grab underhooks, slide knee to face, shoot leg for s-mount, grab own leg, release head and post, shoot leg across and sit back
- hand-walk up, grab head, sprawl hip, grab underhooks, opponent elbow is tight, grab wrist and push to chest, slide knee to armpit, posture up and pull head, post elbow and shoot triangle leg, lean to side and lock
- Opponent Tries Kipping Escape, Sit Weight Back With Collar Tie, Opponent Tries To Bridge, Post With Elbow, Shift Weight To Side Mount
- Crossface
