- often if their knee faces outward, transition to 70/30 or x guard. use these positions to off-balance and sweep
Spin Through To The Saddle
- Once set, most of the time if they put all their weight through their leg to stop elevation, spin through to enter the saddle. secure the leg entanglement for submissions
Shotgun Armbar
- From here, if they have a f/s grip on your free leg, attack with the shotgun armbar. use the grip to extend their arm and finish
Triangle
- Quick note: If they have a N/S grip on your free leg, attack with a Triangle. Use the grip to control posture and lock the submission
Choi Bar
- Key detail: if it shows up, if they have a cross face and grip over your free leg, attack with the choi bar. use their pressure to trap the arm and finish
Shoot Up Closed Guard And Force Hands To The Mat
- Most of the time If they remain in a strong position shutting down off-balances, shoot up to closed guard and force their hands to the mat. breaks their posture
Elevate Their Knee And Get Knee To Stomach
- Most of the time If they work to retain position after you shoot up, elevate their knee back to your stomach. From here, attack as required. Don’t force it
Saddle Entry On I/S Leg
- If they bring their free knee inside and their foot is inside your hip line, enter the saddle on their inside leg. Secure the entanglement. Angle matters
Spin Through To 70/30
- Once set, if they bring their free knee inside and their foot is outside your hip line, spin through to 70/30. use to off-balance. angle matters
Switch Free Leg To Opp's N/S And Push
- From here, If they force your K guard hook to the opposite hip, switch your free leg to their near side and push to off-balance them
Enter B/S 50, Saddle, 70/30 Or Reverse Closed Guard
- If they frame, most of the time after off-balancing them by switching your leg, enter b/s 50, saddle, 70/30, or reverse closed guard based on their reaction. switch if it stalls
