  6. X Guard

    • Transition to X Guard. Entangle their legs. Control their posture. Set up sweeps and submissions
  7. X Sweep

    • perform the x sweep. use your x guard position. elevate and off-balance. sweep them to the side. timing beats strength
  8. Collar Sleeve

    • set collar sleeve guard. control the collar and sleeve. manage distance. set up attacks. do not let go. switch if it stalls
  9. Reset DLR

    • Reset to De La Riva Guard. Regain your hook. Re-set control. Do not accept the pass
  10. Triangle

    • Lock in the Triangle Choke. Trap the head and arm. Squeeze your legs. Finish the submission. Now. Don’t force it

    • If they frame, most of the time attack the armbar. isolate the arm. break their posture. hyperextend the elbow. make them tap

    • Often Execute the Omoplata. Entangle the arm with your legs. Apply shoulder pressure. Force the roll or submission. Don’t force it

    • From here, often complete the matrix back take. spin under their base from omoplata. secure the back. control the position
  14. K Guard

    • From here, from here, enter k guard. use your knee shield. control their far leg. create off-balance. attack immediately
