    • If they frame, most of the time 1. secure the choking arm under the opponent's chin. 2. lock your hands together with proper hand positioning. 3. finish by squeezing your elbows together and expanding your chest
  5. Back Triangle

    • 1. Trap opponent's arm and head between your legs. 2. Lock your feet together to secure the triangle position. 3. Apply pressure by squeezing your legs and adjusting your angle
  6. Armbar

    • Quick note: 1. Isolate the opponent's arm from the back control position. 2. Transition to perpendicular angle for optimal leverage. 3. Secure the arm between your legs and apply pressure by extending your hips. Don’t force it
  7. Lapel Choke

    • 1. secure opponent's lapel for choking material. 2. wrap the lapel around the neck with proper hand positioning. 3. finish by pulling the lapel tight and applying pressure with your body
  8. Single Wing Choke

    • Most of the time 1. Secure collar grip with one hand while controlling the opponent's arm with the other. 2. Position your body to create leverage on the neck. 3. Finish by pulling with your arms and driving your shoulder into the opponent
  9. Body Triangle

    • From here, if it shows up, 1. secure body triangle by crossing your feet around the opponent's waist. 2. keep control by squeezing your legs together. 3. use the body triangle to control movement and set up submissions
  10. Inside Body Triangle

    • If they frame, 1. position your legs inside the opponent's legs from back control. 2. secure control by locking your feet together. 3. use position to limit opponent's movement and create submission opportunities
