  1. No Gi Half Guard Leg Entries

    • Often Starting point for leg attacks from half guard in no-gi. Don’t force it
  2. Basic Bottom Half Guard

    • From here, Standard bottom half guard position. Base for all leg entries. Don’t force it
  3. Knee Shield Half Guard

    • Once set, usually half guard with knee shield inserted. creates space for leg attacks
  4. Opponent In Four Point Position

    • If it shows up, Opp stays in 4-point after being drawn over. Vulnerable to leg attacks
  5. Attack Scooped Leg

    • Key detail: attack opp's scooped leg via b/s 50 or saddle entries. timing beats strength
  6. Attack Free Leg

    • From here, Attack opp's free leg via reverse X entry to saddle
  7. Opponent Sits Back

    • Most of the time Opp sits back, negates off-balance from 4-point position. Switch if it stalls
  8. Enter Saddle Via Tornado

    • If they frame, most of the time collect opp's legs, roll forward to enter saddle position
  9. Opponent Forces Hips Outside

    • Key detail: opp forces your hips o/s, negates tornado sweep position
  10. Kani Basami To Saddle

    • If they frame, use kani basami to enter saddle when tornado is blocked. switch if it stalls
  11. Enter Saddle Via Inversion

    • Enter saddle as you roll through after inserting B/F hook
  12. Ankle Pick Grip

    • Gain ankle pick grip on opp's F/S leg from knee shield
  13. Enter Slx

    • draw opp across body, enter slx from ankle pick grip
  14. Sit Back To Saddle

    • Kick bottom leg back, sit back to saddle position
  15. Opponent Creates Upper Body Connections

    • From here, Opp creates upper body connections, takes /S off mat. Angle matters
  16. Butterfly Ashi

    • If it shows up, Insert B/F hook to gain B/F ashi position. Timing beats strength
  17. Attack From Slx

    • Once set, enter and attack from slx position
  18. Slx To X Guard

    • If they frame, often enter slx, scoop and shift to x to set up b/s attacks
  19. Attack From Backside

    • If they frame, switch to opp's o/s leg, attack from b/s position
  20. Opponent Gains Upper Body Connections

    • Usually Opp gains upper body connections from basic half guard
  21. Outside Spin To Slx

    • Most of the time Use O/S spin to attack trail leg via SLX
  22. Opponent Backsteps

    • If they frame, opp backsteps from knee lever off-balance
  23. Enter Backside Attacks

    • Invert to tornado sweep position, enter into B/S attacks. Timing beats strength
