Flow outline

  1. Standing Neutral

    • If they frame, start standing with opponent. maintain good posture and base. be ready to react to their grips or attacks. switch if it stalls
  2. Standing Underhook

    • Once set, establish underhook on one side. control their posture and create opportunities for takedowns. keep your head position tight
  3. They Turtle

    • Opponent goes to turtle position. Maintain control from behind. Look for seatbelt grip or hooks to take back
  4. Front Headlock

    • Control opponent's head from front position. Maintain pressure and look for guillotine or snap down to turtle
  5. Front Headlock

    • If they frame, control opponent's head from front position. maintain pressure and look for guillotine or snap down to turtle
  6. They Turtle

    • Opponent goes to turtle position. Maintain control from behind. Look for seatbelt grip or hooks to take back

    • secure single leg takedown with head outside. drive through opponent to complete takedown. maintain control throughout. don’t force it
