Techniques for dominateing from the guard w/ cage awareness, turning defensive positions into offensive opportunities

  1. Closed Guard

    • Once set, lock them down from your back, controlling posture and setting up attacks. keep them close to the cage to limit their movement and set up strikes

  8. Scissor Sweep

    • Quick note: Scissor the legs, control the arm, and sweep to mount. Use the cage to trap their hip and prevent the base
  9. Flower Sweep

    • Hook the leg, control the arm, and sweep to mount. Use the cage to trap their shoulder and prevent the base
  10. Back

    • Take the back, sink the hooks, and control the position. Use the cage to trap their hips and set up the choke
  11. Mount
